We don't need anymore low income housing in N.O. East. Built something that will bring our property values up!

As a taxpaying and voting resident and citizen of New Orleans East (7441 Seven Oaks Rd.), I believe that it would subvert the purpose of the city's Master Plan to begin making substantial changes in the zoning of significant plots even before the plan is fully implemented. It's a bad idea in the abstract, and even more so when the person requesting such a change is a person of questionable intent, with a dubious track record.

It appears that New Orleans East is becoming the dumping ground for everything that other areas of the city refuse to accommodate. It is unfair to force so many of these undesirable businesses into our neighborhoods. Councilman Gray, we value our properties and way of life as well. Please stand up for the people who put you in office. We deserve it!

We do not want the zoning changed in our neighborhood. We refuse to have more undesirable businesses forced into our community. Why should New Orleans East get the worst of everything. We are not taking it anymore.

New Orleans East does NOT need any more commercial (small) businesses sites. Use the land already designated for that. What we NEED are find restaurants, nice shopping mall, theater, etc long time overdue, let's talk about that!!! We have to travel to the Northshore, Westbank, Metarie and beyound to have access to the above. Will someone take our lives in consideration and put yourself in our shoes; politics and what will I get out of it is keeping us in boundage but I have a God that will prevail over all things that is not lined up according to his word. This too shall pass to those who believe.

Rezoning of any parcel should have the approval of the neighborhood group and or the home owners association and not rest solely in the hands of the rezoning commission. Please stop robbing Eastern New Orleans of a good quality of life.

All rezoned areas should be approved by local neighborhood group to endure quality of life development!
