Section 8 housing breeds drug dealers, crime, murder and endless problems. We just bought here and this makes me want to sell.

I don't see how it would benefit for section 8 to be in the middle of nowhere like this strip is

This area is not the type of place that is needed to support people that may need this housing. There are no jobs in this area for people that may be felons may be recovering from drugs and there is not not enough law-enforcement in this little strip of 39 to take care of any people that might be recovering from drugs, but my main issue is where the jobs it's gonna take these people because I know people right now that have a past and can't get a job for nothing in this world and they're having to do little stuff on the side to get by section 8 housing is a temporary housing for people that are trying to get in a better living situation. This area is not a better living situation section 8 should be closer to the police station for one not out in the middle of nowhere where the cops don't even come and when they do, it takes over an hour by the way also ambulance takes over an hour. I live less than a mile from this block. It takes an hour and five minutes for the ambulance to get to my house after they're called if someone was recovering from drugs and tried it again when most overdose happen they won't survive. This is not a spot for section 8. We're in the middle of nowhere too far away from help when they need it that's my argument. Take it or leave it.

This was farming land for years! We don’t need a big group of affordable homes in our area right at the crossroads. It will bring property values down for us that live close by. Most of our community on both sides of the crossroads like the way things are now. There are a lot of elderly people living here and they like our small community.

I do not support this. I live in the area. Days Cross Road area. Health code issue with lot size and septic tanks. Changing the plot size is not inline with Ga septic tank issue. Changing smaller to accommodate for private investors creates a precedent for future request for smaller

Y’all I love my neighbors and the country vibes. We do not need a housing development way out here where they cannot easily access groceries or drs. Please don’t approve this action and ruin or lovely neighborhood

We shouldn’t be punished for our hard work to have nice things, for people to come in and ruin clay county. And the type of people section 8 brings is not what we need.
