I can't believe the state would jeopardize a high tourist area with 4 lakes and numerous streams and thousands of residents of the area to appease the greed of one farming operation.

Too many people will lose if the CAFO goes through with only a few gaining a profit. Wasn't our great nation founded on the principles of a democracy? We are a Republic, where the people tell the government what our wishes are; if the elected don't respond to the electorate, then it's time to elect those who will follow the will of the people.

Please do not allow our wells and our lakes to be contaminated by a business that could easily be located in an area without a high concentration of private wells and multiple recreational lakes essential to the survival of the Rome community.

I have spent time on this lake and would like to see it maintain its natural beauty. I would hate to see so many people's beautiful property turned into wasteland. Please consider the generations of families who have spent time on this lake and the future generations to come. This beautiful place should not be destroyed for the placement of a factory farm.

please prevent a local disaster which will affect our wells, our homes, our lakes and our very livelihoods. This is surely the worst spot to plan a CAFO, right in the middle of homes and vacation land.
