Our highly concentrated residential developments our NOT the place to establish a 5000 animal dairy farm. Every study proves this will be a disaster. Look across the river and northeast. Stop this from happening!!!!

Currently there are no Wisconsin laws on the book that provide for review and adjustment of ground water distribution . Allowing this CAFO with it's proposed 33 High Capacity wells to operate in the Saratoga /Rome area could very likely allow poisoning and water draw dons t o take place in private wells of many thousands of home and business owners. This must not occur .

It is an outrage that the citizens anywhere in the state have to put up with potential threats to the quality of their lives and their water due to the state's failure to protect the citizens from KNOWN forms of solution, namely CAFOs.

The CAFO does not belong between Wisconsin Rapids and the Town of Rome with all the environmental disasters they have caused throughout the state. End the greed and protect the resources that belong to all the citizens.

DNR don't let the interest of the few outweigh the interests of the many. Facts are not in dispute. Reject this CAFO.

With the existing record of severe pollution by Cafo's in other areas of Wisconsin, why would the DNR want to place one in this recreation and residential area. It will destroy the economic development of the area and the tax income the State could receive.

There shouldn't even have to be a petition if all you people in power would look at the information with the facts already been presented all around wisconsin and realize this should be a no brainer !!!!! You need to do your job and protect our quality of water and air !!!!

How is it possible to allow one activity that can cause so much harm to everyone else, continue. There are many other areas of Wisconsin that may welcome such a farm.. Certainly, this kind of farming effort is so foriegn to our recreational area and will have a harmful effect on all of the recreational endeavors here. In short, one greedy person will mess up a good thing for everyone else. Just stop this madness. John

Don't let this happen to the people who have worked all their lives to finally retire in what we believed would be a pristine area for the rest of our lives.

The Wis River TMDL reveals the level of phosphorus at the mouth of 10mile Creek is 55 PPM. To spread the manure of 6500 cows in this watershed will indeed increase this present amount. Petenwell is laden w/BGA, More phosphorus will impact tourism on the lake and at the campsites. When this lake is green and nasty from blue green algae, everyone suffers, business located on the lake, families who spend their vacations here. This is not the appropriate location for this CAFO, too many risks that will negatively impact our water.

I would like to add my name to opposition of the large number of dairy farms and oppose the environmental damage they do to ground water and air.
