We have enough water issues without creating more. This permit should be denied.

Please deny the permit for the Golden Sands Dairy. These types of confined animal feeding operations are detrimental to the environment, which is critical to our tourism economy among other things, and they are horrible for animal welfare.

There needs to be some control and accountability for all farms and DNR needs to use all information available and consider it when permitting these large facilities.

Please do not allow this dairy farm. The Rome area is so beautiful, and our lakes provide enjoyment to many residents and visitors. The proposed CAFO will bring economic and natural havoc to our area. Please do not allow it!

The proposed CAFO will benefit only the owners and will result in substantial public health and environmental damage for those who live in the area and for tourism.

I have witnessed the same scenario. Langlade County near Langlade. Agricultural area has 3-high capacity wells which have consumed Sawyer and Jessie Lakes by decreasing water levels by 4+'. One of the three high capacity wells is dry. Marsh lands have dried up and many lake homes have depreciated in value destroying lake front property. Many can no longer launch boat or have water as frontage. Residents must rely on lake water for fires as there was one fire last fall. Deny the permits for the Golden Sands Dairy.

Under the circumstances -- basically, Proof of Pollution -- a permit cannot be issued. There's no reason to subsidize a CAFO with the water and health of surrounding communities! Corporate welfare at its worst.

Deny these permits. My family has owned land in Adams Co for 50 years-compromising the water table is NO way to encourage long-term economic growth. Recreational land owners come to this county for the environment, not to see property values drop because of tainted wells. No permit!

Even DEEP wells would be tainted as the water table wouldn't be able to keep up with filtering the nitrates. Bad idea!

CAFOs in Kewaunee County have been proven to pollute the water and make it totally undrinkable. Our state constitution says clean water is every state resident's right. Please uphold the Constitution and vote to maintain our water quality!

cafo's are not sustainable. groundwater is more valuable than any animal factory.

CAFOs are nothing more than inhumane, polluting machines that are destroying everything in their path.

High capacity wells threaten the long term water quality for millions of folks in this state. We can not live without good water. Do not allow the profits for the few threaten the well being of the many.

Please do not allow this Dairy. We Dairy farmed for 28 years so I am not against farming. However, living in a new area now we find out well contaminated by nitrates. Please do not cause this issue for others.
