Deny Loveland Ready Mix Proposed Pit, concrete Batch Plant, Concrete Crushing facility

I love Laporte. Please don't allow this it would have too many damaging effects on the town.

Please don't allow this monstrosity in this beautiful little community!

Please move this project far away from here. There are plenty of more desolate land parcels to choose from that are not so proximate to good people's homes and businesses.

This would hurt my families greenhouse business across the street. So much dust, noise, and draining our well water to water our crop.

I think that a gravel pit that close to the town of LaPorte will ruin the charm of the town. I strongly oppose it.

I went to high school in Laporte an would hate to see this facility ruin the town.

I do not want this project to be built. I have close family members nearby and strongly appear this.

This is not the place for your Concrete plant! It effects the health and well being of all the close neighbors. It is also detrimental to the environment. Keep it out of our neighborhood!

Don't we have enough gravel pits? Isn't it contaminating this green earth? I can't even get gravel for my road!! I'ts too much money! If you want to create a sanctuary, make it a bird sanctuary. The proposed land is perfect for it! Leave it alone!

I was born and raised in Fort Collins and have several family members and their families who live in and around the beautiful town of LaPorte, Colorado. I watched throughout the years, as several family members struggled in their endeavors for employment in various fields in this area, to support their families. And I at times, assisted some as their dreams became realities and grew into thriving successful businesses. Everyone is aware that small community townships grow as time moves on and populations abound. LaPorte is no exception and because of its setting at the mouth of the stunning and alluring Poudre Canyon and the closeness of the majestic mountains which rise up at every turn in the road, LaPorte will continue to grow and flourish. Now we have a problem arising at the very heart of this exquisite arena. The biggest and potentially most damaging project to the environment and to surrounding businesses and to the city of LaPorte itself, is the proposed gravel pit and permanent Batching Plant proposed for construction east of and adjacent to the Kintzley plaza; where businesses flourish and where apartments are filled with citizens of LaPorte who cherish their peaceful and serene environment. This openly unabashed disregard of the voices of the majority of citizens of LaPorte and surrounding affected members of the community is appalling. Our democracy is once again being flaunted by a few officials who care more for their own interests and those of their counter-parts than the wants, needs and desires of the “people”. This is unacceptable and I speak here for multitudes when I say that this proposed Batching Plant and gravel pit must be halted. There may be spaces in more isolated areas where this Loveland company can construct this sort of activity where it would not be so invasive upon the lives of so many people who are so negatively affected by such an unsightly, noisy and permanent tarnishing to their beauti

Please don't bring this business to our families gathering space.

I agree that this project is a bad idea. I think that this proposal will have a negative impact on the neighbors, and local business.
