Please do not let this happen. Mr. Beruff does not care about our environment or ecosystems. He cares only for money. In his greed he has destroyed many wetlands and the more he's allowed to destroy will wreak havoc on our environment and open the doors for others to do the same until there is nothing left but concrete. If allowed, the results could be catastrophic and may not be seen for years, when it's much too late to fix. Stop this now, before it's too late.

I've had enough of these bad faith attempts to circumvent the laws that protect our coastline.

Long Bar Pointe MUST be protected. Beruff needs to be schooled. He does not understand the importance of the bay and how his ridiculous demands will harm "the nursery" and our livelihood. It is TRULY not all about him.

I can't believe the multitude of methods Beruff is trying in an effort to destroy our resources. Deny, deny, deny!

FDEP please do your job with care and concern for our natural resources. These bays are the estuaries of the sea life, birds and plants that make up our ecosystem. Not only destruction of these habitats but the gas and oil from the boats will be devastating to our protected lands.

When is our government going to stop allowing development that jeopardizes the environment? There are more important things then succumbing to the lure of the almighty dollar and sacrificing what will become of Florida.

Wow! Talk about coming in through the back door to sneak by hoping not to get caught! Hope the FDEP sees this for what it really is-deceptive!!

Laugh these plans right off your desk please. Seriously, it is insulting to your intelligence. I have worked with wetland experts and you know mitigation banks are not real solutions. stop ruining our wetlands and my property values by allowing destruction of the environment. Water quality will be reduced and this will decrease the value of everyones homes.

Stop allowing big investors let money talk and ruin our wetlands and in the end destroying our community with pollution, more traffic, liter and way too many expensive homes for this blue collar tourist neighborhood. Save our environment; it's too close to the natural habitat of the bay waters and wildlife along with natural protection of the coastal area. They'll end up with sink holes, diminished bay fresh water and building in a Preserve area. Wake up before it becomes this Counties greatest disasters! DON'T SELL OUT to them PLEASE!

Beruff people are sick of your shenanigans here! Sell Long Bar to someone who can see the true value of what it is and will preserve it and not destroy it. Mitigation is such a load of BS. There's not much untouched Florida left. You should be proud of the chunk you have and want to keep it pristine and preserve it for future generations not plow it over with yet another development project.

Preserving lands that are already protected is NOT mitigation.

This is a game to Beruff. This is not a game to those of us who live in the area and hope to preserve the life and soul of the land and the bay.

This has been decided already and lifting the environmental conditions would just demonstrate that money can buy you anything....let's protect our environment like we protect our children and our animals....stop allowing this to go on!
