i think as long as there is great insurance and qualified technicians teeth whitening is safe and a good revenue stream for therapists in salons

THE GDC don't even bother notifying people who they're taking to court these days, they just do the case without them!
Who needs the courts when you have the GDC...

Absolutely agree! Even my insurance for next year has gone up, even though my beautician friends are more than likely to burn someone with hot wax!!!!

I do not see how a self adminstered teeth whitening gel which is non peroxide can possibly be illegal. This is completely ridiculous and pure greed by the GDC trying to keep theis small area of busines for the dentists as well as tapping into the beauty salons business by now offering treatments the beauty salons do, its fine for them but not the other way round.
