this would make it impossible for many families to choose a catholic education for their child. School is about more than simply learning.

This would make it impossible fro families on a low wage to access a quality Catholic education which will develop the pupils in mind, body and spirit.

Without the free bus service I would have been very reluctant to let my son travel such a distance from home to school at the age of 11 and 3 weeks (at the start of his year 7). The cost is quite substantial every month and the cost would act as a further barrier to accessing Catholic high school eduction in the area.

This is direct discrimination against a faith based education, and takes away yet another choice of education from an already depleted list of schools in the Kirklees and Calderdale area.

Think it's disgusting, when it's been available for so long, how do you propose they get there on time, also what about families that struggle to pay bills never mind transport

Discretionary transport is needed for many of our pupils to travel the distances they do to come to All Saints Catholic College.

School children ( No matter what religion ) should be protected against other influences to and from schools.
