I had the pleasure of having Dennis Ng as my corporate finance professor. Not only was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, he was able to articulate concepts in a simple manner that made them easier and enjoyable to learn. He is also very involved with student groups and events that shows his commitment to student experience and learning. It would be a great loss to see him go from the University of Winnipeg.

A great professor. He is without a doubt one of the best I've encountered at The University Of Winnipeg. Professor Ng is dedicated to his students. He motivates us to excel and reach our academic potential. He has also provided us the opportunity to learn more through the UWIG.

I have not personally had the opportunity to experience Dennis as a professors. However, I have heard nothing but great things from the student body regarding his quality teaching and his care for students to see them excel. I have spoke with many students who have said that Dennis has helped them to learn course material better than in any other class and that they are devastated to see him go because of the strong relationship he has built with the students.

Dennis Ng was a very knowledgable professor and should be asked to remain at the University of Winnipeg. Every discussion that Dennis Ng comes up in, my fellow cohort and I in the Faculty of Business and Economics all agree on the quality of service that he provides during his lecture hours and outside of them.

Dennis has been the sole reason for many students success academically and socially throughout the University of Winnipeg. He is was one of the few professors who are willing to invest their time into the students. It will be a shame to lose such a great professor.

Dennis has shown tremendous character and care towards his students in his time at the university of winnipeg, one might even say an unparalleled level of both. It is my belief, that letting him go is a mistake on the part of this faculty. I may not know all of the facts in regards to this scenario, but I do know that Dennis is well respected by all students in the business faculty.

Dennis has supported JDC West and other student groups in the business faculty. I have nothing but good things to say about him and you can tell he cares about his students through his teaching method ad involvement in the faculty.

Great prof who made coming to class fun and educational. Proved that a leader who genuinely cares can drive success of all his students. I feel bad for all future finance students.

He's very invested in his students, I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about him. All positives. He's involved and relatable and engaging, I'm unsure what else you would like in a professor? If you are heading in a different direction you might need to reconsider for it might be the wrong way.

The best and most supportive instructor/professor i had the pleasure of having at the U of W. I'm sad for all of the future students who won't get to experience his brilliance.

Prof. Ng knows what he is talking about and deserves to be re-hired. The flow of the topic is great. He interacts with his students, which other professors fail to do or do not do at all because they do not care to their students. An approachable teacher. Petition wouldn't be necessary if he wasn't good enough.

Universities are constantly looking for ways to save money by finding new profs to come in and teach. A way to control costs is to ensure less profs become tenured. Also this is a symptom of the emphasis of scholarly works superseding teaching abilities. The University of Winnipeg thinks that the more its profs are published the better the university will do. But they fail to realize that University is a place where students go to learn. The business admin department is riddled with professors who can't present material in a digestable way, can't relate to students and who don't really put in the effort of creating an environment for the proper transfer of knowledge. This is a poor decision. Professor NG is one of the few profs who actually put in a strong effort each and every class.
