Fantastic professor! Interacts well with students, is approachable, presents material in a detailed manner that students are able to understand and learn from. Would be very disappointed in the U of W if they let him go.

From all of the professors i have encountered at the UofW, Dennis Ng is by far the best in terms of presenting his material to students in an understandable manner. Given his approachable manner, it ensures his students that he cares, which most professors i feel lack. He definitely plays an important role in redirecting students to the Economics Department, myself included. It would truly be a loss to the university to not re-hire him given his contributions throughout the years.

By far one of the best professors at the UofW, it would truly be a shame to go through with the decision to not re-hire him. Not only does he have a strong background knowledge in the topics he teaches, he is likewise able to present the concepts in an approachable manner for students, which I feel other professors lack. He is definitely an invaluable part of the department as well as student learning and re-hiring a professor of this quality should not have to be doubted.

Prof. Ng knows what he is talking about and deserves to be re-hired. The flow of the topic is great. He interacts with his students, which oher professors fail to do. Petition wouldn't be necessary if he wasn't good enough.

He is one big reason why I enjoyed my experience as an exchange student that much. It would be a shame and very disappointing if a teacher of his quality would not be re-hired.

Excellent professor. He inspired me to study further in Economics. And besides, I strongly believe that teaching skills trumps research skills any day when it comes to learning. There's a reason why we call them teachers, and not researchers.

He is one of my personal favourite profs at the UofW. The 2 Econ classes i have had with him have been the most enjoyable classes i have taken in my 2 years at uni. I don't think that this should be sacrificed for a little extra cash
