As a proud past student I am not pleased with the decision of the school's name to be changed. The name of my past school is Denbigh High School and in the future if that changed is made when and if someone should ask what is the name of my past school they will not recognise or know what school I am referring to and I would feel embarassed. The name was already changed from Denbigh comprehensive high school to the name we all know it as today so I strongly disagree with the change of name and the changing of the school uniform color if what I heard in the rumours is factual. Aqua is our color aqua is the true and only Denbigh color. Furthermore I wasn't even inform about this situation formally such as on the news or anything I just heard it from my sister because she actually still attends the school and a friend of mine sent me this link to petition. I bet u guys won't try this thing with Wolmers, Calabar, Champion, Kingston College etc. Once more I strongly disagree.

The school has been known as denbigh high for years now. Denbigh is my Alma mater and I don't believe it needs a new name.

Denbigh high school has made many strides toward success since its begining, from the unrecognized days of denbigh secondary to being one of the most successful high schools in clarendon and jamaica, denbigh has become some what of a house hold name associated with excellence, a name that I believe should not change on the whim and empowerment of bureaucrats

The name of the school is very sentimental of where the school is now and where it is coming. Let it remain to prevent all its accomplishments and development from being lost overtime through the renaming.
