Mr. Azan did a lot more in my opinion than Mike Henry. I do not agree with the name change, for years we worked hard to build the denbigh high brand. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to change our name at this point. I'm a proud past student of this school and I do not support this change.

The Denbigh High school should remain just that, the name should not be changed because someone wants to leave a legacy behind after their political career has come to an end. The Denbigh high school has come from far and has undergone several changes for the better to now be highlighted as a great school in Clarendon we want it to remain that way and to be recognised and acknowledged as the Denbigh High School and nothing else.

Dont play politics with the school name. I respect Hon. Mike Henry for all he has done but find something else to put his name on.

We need to stop running around naming our institutions after athletes and politicians! As a past student I strongly oppose it as I did when my other Alta Mata, Vere Technical high, was proposed to be rename after Hugh Shearer. Lets our institutions keep their identity
