Aston already has a bad reputation as being deprived and the council hasn’t asked us the local residents what our thoughts are on the idea

This is just stupid the area is well known for its history of crime and drugs as well as anti social behaviour and to fuel it with more drug users is beyond a smart persons idea, as well as that crime is already up on the rise in the uk and this area knows alot about it, we have done alot as a community to continue to stop people from joining gangs and stopping street gangs from forming as well as asbos being handed out but adding people to this tower flat would just only mean we're just going backwards and causing a bigger problems to the area than it already has. My choice would be to have it demolished just like osbourne tower down the road guessing twin to the current standing tower that is an eyesore. You need to hear the words of the local people before going ahead with choices as they know whats best for their local area, and if any how there is any accommodation sorted for drug users or other people be ready to face consequences from local residents as I know nobody is happy for the decision without the surrounding neighbors consent on the decision of the tower.

I believe crime in area would be reduced if the building was knocked down and replaced with family homes.

Birmingham city council stop wasting money on these hell holes and spend it on building new houses! Temporary accomodation is useful for nobody!

The council's new plan will put the safety and well being of the children attending the local schools at risk.

Having this building used for temporary accommodation is not a good idea. It mean that pepole from all walk of life and background will be living there. The area is rebuilding after the tower was emptied and also the removal of other tower blocks nearby. The only thing to finally give the area another face lift is to remove the tower as planned since the previous residents was rehoused.
