Demands for the Sandberg Instituut administration, to be made at the ‘other funding’ conversation meeting, 20th December 2017.

We, the undersigned, as part of the Sandberg community demand the following from the institution:

i) That all new permanent, temporary and hosted masters must be officially presented and explained to the student body in a public setting. This must be done well in advance of the course being accepted into the institution and open for admission. This must be done with adequate time and infrastructure in place to allow for feedback and adjustment.

ii) That any permanent, temporary and hosted masters involving private or corporate monies (be that: philanthropy, sponsorship, project investment, or any such similar relationship to private funding) must present to the student body their funding structures, intentions and administrative structure with total transparency. This must be done well in advance of the course being accepted into the institution and open for admission. This must be done with adequate time and infrastructure in place to allow for feedback and adjustment.

iii) That students of all permanent, temporary and hosted masters of the Sandberg have the right and ability to take editorial control of the way their programme is presented to the public. This will include the language and description of their course, as well as the content of course websites, social media platforms and press coverage, etc.

iv) That the MR* and its purpose is more widely publicised, and its participation encouraged within the Sandberg.

v) That all previous demands, once made policy, cannot be removed or altered without the unanimous agreement of the MR.

Written proof of these demands being made policy should be provided by January 30th, 2018.
