Demanding the PM to make IIT BHU safe for students

We strongly and urgently demand for a safe and secure campus.

For years, IIT (BHU) students have suffered because of Birla hostel/BHU outsiders - repeated assaults, intimidation, and violence. No other IIT in India faces this. On 31st August 2025, three IIT students were beaten just for walking past Birla road. This is not an isolated case it's part of a long history of harassment and violence. While IITs like Delhi, Bombay, Kanpur, Madras are safe, secure, and closed, we live in constant fear.

Respected authority, It is high concerned that bhu students often try to harm students of IIT, it very common they have some other feelings for us like we are not allowed to be in BHU..we need strictly separate things Becz its IIT, and iitians we deserve security so that we can represent for our country tomorrow..bhu campus students try to disturb our event like they cross barricade in our last year function in ground and it disturb a lot..even we feel insecurity during night in bhu campus more than varanasi street road due to this people.. please look in this matter...I request on behalf of all IITIANS to govt.. please look on this issue...and we never claim different from bhu Becz we have IIT+BHU, but we really want security in it as well..so that the dream of MAHAMANA comes true... We request to make campus a safe place to stay

Demand of Closed campus for IIT BHU.

MAKE IT SAFE. Us students of IIT are facing everyday challenges and our special occasions get spoilt. Last time during Diwali also some chaos happened and we were asked not to leave hostel. If you can't make it closed campus make it different from other university. Police and petroleum team is simply show off. They are as useless as ncert is for jee advanced.

The campus needs to be closed.

Why IIT BHU is not safe ?? bcz of Birla Students.

Unlike other IITs in India which enjoy the safety of a closed and secure environment, IIT (BHU) continues to remain vulnerable, and our safety is repeatedly compromised. We really feel unsafe while in campus and even many of our fest and events get cancelled.
