Demanding the PM to make IIT BHU safe for students

Campus should be closed like other iits

Here at IIT BHU, there is no safety for students. BHU students, and especially those from Birla C hostel, frequently fight with IIT students and even get into physical violence. Since BHU and IIT BHU share an open campus, people from Banaras city can also enter, which causes trouble for students. BHU students have even come into IIT hostels, fought, and injured security guards. Another issue is that two IIT departments—Metallurgy and Mining—are located inside the BHU campus. So IIT students have to go there for lectures, which is not safe because BHU students can harass them. Therefore, we request the government to provide IIT BHU with a separate campus like other IITs, so that we can live safely. This open campus system is causing a lot of problems for us.

Students are the further of the nation, specialy engineering students contribute directly in the technology and all most in every field of the nation for the growth, we should be protected and our safety is nation's growth safety. IIT BHU SAFETY SHOULD BE A GREAT CONCERN.

Please make the IIT BHU safer. Others students of BHU had attacked us many times in the campus with sword, piece of wood, guns(desi katta).
