This petition is based on a hoax article posted by The Beaverton. If you require "nazi" references, the Nazi's were experts at creating hate against a specific group through false media articles and misleading the public about the practices of a group. In this case, The Beaverton website is using Nazi tactics against the Quebec government. ...and you just fell for it. Shame on who?

It is unfortunate that you have been misled by this hoax story. I live in Ottawa (next door to Quebec). While the language laws in Quebec are strict, they serve a purpose. The article posted by The Beaverton (which is a satirical site) is designed to frustrate and anger people. The fact that it links to a legitimate petition site like ipetitions is what frustrates me. Let ipetitions know that they should not be lending credibility to sites that are designed to disseminate frustration and make people "hate" a culture (in this case, Quebec) through a hoax petition. Shame on ipetitions.
