Absolutely ridiculious. I'm guessing the would get the same fine for writing montréal on the box instead of ville de montréal. Just another reason why I am happy I moved away from montreal. I speak French on a daily basis but having rules forced down my throat for shots of authority.....enough is enough already. I honestly hope for taxpayers sake that thesr inspectors are paid minimum wage and not a nice salary. If in the end they do have to pay the fine they should just move forward and forget the unforgettable province.

This is ridiculous!!! I am truly embarrassed to say that I was born and raised in Quebec. So what about the kids that attend the English schools in Quebec!!! What they can't use the language that they are court entry using or write in that language. They are major issues in today's society like the lack of jobs, crime against children put your money into something worth while instead of wasting it on this shit. If you are English you will read English if you are French you will read French if you are bilingual you will read either or. I would go to jail before I would pay that fine .
