That's outrageous, they were moving, not doing advertising or acting as a business, additionally the city name spelling in french and english is the same. If some people here don't want to forget french they should start by themselves at home, not using english words mixed with french (which by the way now are part of the quebecois slang). These people give a very bad image to the province and should be stopped on their tracks.

This is outrageous! How can you fine people for writing whatever they want on their own, private moving boxes? There is a huge difference between public business and private home. This opens up a dangerous path to fining wearing T-shirts with English on it, having English on your bag, or having a doormat with "Welcome" on it. That's too much!

Ma langue maternelle est le français, et si j'avais à déménager à Toronto, sur mes boîtes de déménagement, je peux vous assurer que j-auraus faut la MÊME chose que la famille Miller. Toronto en français, bien c'est Toronto!! Quel acharnement ridicule!!! c'est une honte! SVP, annulez cette contravention ridicule! Un dénénagement, ce n'est pas un commerce!!!
