If this is for the better then let the residents be heard BEFORE a contract is signed. Mt Vernon is playing dirty pool and the residents need to stand up NOW before you wind up paying a million dollars for fire and EMS service. Rise and be heard.

My child will be returning to Kenyon in the fall and I'm concerned about the response time for EMS services if Gambier does not have this coverage and it is moved to Mount Vernon.

I have a child who will be attending Kenyon College this fall and am concerned about emergency response times should services move from Gambier to Mt Vernon.

Representative government. Enough said. Open meetings and opportunity for community comment before a vote are integral to the process of making an informed, representative decision.

I support this and hope the residents do as well! For them to support us and vote yes on the levy; they deserve to have a strong voice in the matter. Not just a committee of ones that feel Mount Vernon is the only answer!!
