What good are the laws of state and country if officers are unwilling to enforce those laws? ...if our prosecutors and judges are unwilling to prosecute those who break the laws based on wealth? Our judicial system has failed yet another family.

Those friends who happens to be some kind of authority, and friends of the shooter, I can only pray for swift justice and punishment for being such a coward!!! I love the fact that the FBI, starting in January of 2016, will be able to deal out harsher penalties for the torture and killing of animals! Animal abusers, will be listed in the same category of murderers, rapists, arsonists, and then the perpetrators will be in their database and let the FBI track and keep a record for the scum! Instead of a slap on the wrist and a piddly-ass fine, now the scum will be charged with a felony crime!!!

We need better laws for animals and maybe animal abuse would not happen near as much.
