Shelby’s outward comments on not voting for Moore in 2017 played a big part in the election of Jones in that seat. If you look at Alabama’s political history you will find that many senior politicians (still serving) were democrats and cross over when they realized they could not win on the democrat ticket. We need to vet candidates more on past political activities and what have they done to show that they have been involved in conservative activities for several years and not just because a year or two out they decide they want to change parties. Once that has been clarified the vetting needs to be shared with the public so that they can review and if there are areas not reported on from that vetting can be shared before they are accepted as a new member of the Republican Party.

No to anyone running for office with connections to Democrats, helping them, aiding them in way makes them ineligible to run for any Republican office.

Katie Britt broke the rule, but doesn’t have to pay a price because of who she is. Democrats do that, not Republicans!
