Albertans for Healthcare Accountability is a small group of concerned citizens who feel that Premier Alison Redford must remain accountable to Albertans when it comes to healthcare in this province. Transparency and government accountability in healthcare were key pillars of the Premier's PC leadership campaign and Albertans want to make sure she fulfills these promises now. During the leadership campaign, Premier Redford said time and time again that she wanted to hear from Albertans on the issues, so we decided to speak up and see if others share our concerns. With so many AISH recipeints in Alberta living well below the poverty line, extra support each month could make all the difference. Premier Redford promised an AISH increase when she was campainging for the PC leadership and with the 2012-13 budget coming up in a matter of weeks, Albertans are demainding that she fulfill this promise and give AISH recipients the help they need.
