Demand that our WA State legislature and the WSDOT upgrade the roads in to and out of Pullman

Please fix SR26 and help prevent more of our precious Cougs from losing their lives on this horrible road

We've seen too many of our children dead and too many crippled. It's got to stop. Some of these roads date back to the mid 1920s and were never designed to handle the traffic into and out of the university. We need these roads fixed with lane barriers, passing lands, improved traffic enforcement such as traffic and speed cameras, and cell service so that emergency services can be called in what are now dead zones.

Please improve hwy26 to save lives.

We understand there might not be that much funds. But at least in the winter when students are during thanksgiving and xmas break and going back first semester to WSU there needs to be excellent clearing of the roads, closures if roads are NOT safe. You can work with WSU so they can inform students/parents when roads are closed. It is BETTER to close the roads if unsafe conditions then have the usual fatalities which are like 4/mo esp in winter months and several severely injured for life. This is just not acceptable, too many have been permanently and severely injured and too many deaths.

Let's make the roads safer!

Safety needs to be a priority, especially with the volume of students driving home to be with family and loved ones.

A beautiful young life was taken on January 8, 2017 driving back to college. No more of our children should die.

Please ! Too many people have died on this road. How many more lives must be taken before you take action.

My daughter died because of poor road conditions. Unable to see center lane

This is the same road I drove to WSU 30 years ago and it has had NO improvements, but WSU enrollment has significantly gone up since I was a student. My daughter now attends WSU so I've had the opportunity to drive Hwy 26 again on a regular basis. During high traffic weekends which is almost every weekend this road is a death trap. It needs to be a divided 4 lane highway regardless if it meets state requirements for improvement or not. The traffic density may not be consistent, but it is frequent and deadly.

Please make this road safer! It can be done and needs to be done now - before there are any more fatalities and broken hearted parents and loved ones.

Please improve the safety of these roads so that our children can travel safely back and forth to school. No more fatalities!

The fatalities need to stop. Don't let anyone else go through the loss of a loved one. Fix the roads where it is more safe for our friends and family.

This needs to be done. Google student deaths driving to/from WSU. Gov. Inslee was asked to give less $ to WA fish and more to roadways in/out of WSU to keep young students safe.
