The state finally committed to the road upgrades we fought for. I am completely drained but relieved that these highways will finally be made safe. We need to stay watchful until the construction equipment actually arrives.

It's time...do something now. The drive to Pullman was dangerous when my grandfather, my parents, and my husband and I went to WSU. It's too late to fix it for my daughter's class, but not for future generations. Please fix this now.
The road has been dangerous for years and we lose loved ones every year. Olympia doesn't have any priority to fix this because it's on the Eastside. Let them hear us say that it's time to care about all Washingtonians even if they live on the other side of the mountains.
Recontouring and widening the highway may be a more expensive option than increasing plowing/sanding, but some of the most dangerous parts of the road are sharp turns, terrifying when roads are wet or snowy, or when there's a truck in the narrow opposite lane
I worked at WSU for years and am considering a move back to Pullman. I have driven the roads hundreds of times, always uneasy and sometimes in a white-knuckled grasp. PLEASE improve the safety of all travelers in that area!
Please put attention on these two roads, both of which are too small and outdated for the amount of traffic. Between students, truckers, and farm traffic, accidents will continue to happen without more physical safeguards.
We do need safer roads for our kids and families!
I DON'T EVER WANT MY SON TO DRIVE THESE AWFUL ROADS. TIME TO REPAIR. FIX THE ROADS!

26 through E WA to Pullman is dangerous. Two lanes are insuffiencient with the high volume of travelers and unpredictable weather conditions. It's time for our state department of transportation to prioritize upgrades to 26 by adding extra lanes and center dividers. Thank you.
