Using the lovely Father Ted series to put up two fingers to Israel is a puerile, trashy, vindictive, mean-spirited final flourish to a poisonous boycott of a song contest. Ireland is showing its worst side in this boycott and trying to co-opt one of its universally-known, best loved entertainments to do so is revolting. RESIGN.
