The parents and taxpayers of CISD believe Trustee Moore has failed in her duties. Ms. Moore’s mismanagement of the District Diversity Council and failure to engage the broader community has been a dereliction of her duties. Potential violations of the Open-Meetings Act have left many concerned that her objective has been to serve special interests rather than the interests of CISD students. Therefore, we are demanding her immediate resignation as a CISD Trustee and that her replacement be filled by a special election rather than an appointment.
