Reduction in fee is right

Corona has impacted all of us , directly or indirectly. Gems need to be loyal to us as we have been loyal to gems for years

It’s not right for a school to charge full term fee when the school is closed. By having distance learning the school should understand that parents have more work than before. Now parents are also working as teachers employees and being parents at home. Schools are supposed to lead by example in sharing knowledge at economical cost not by charging full term fee and putting pressure on parents at difficult times. School should follow footsteps from STS.

The parents of some student they dont have work, and also the student stuying in the house the school pay with the classroom and facilities. You need to give discount for the tuition fees.

Hello guys a lot of parents are not happy with gems response to our request of fees reduction so they made another I petition saying we demand fees reduction not charity since we don’t receive that service equal to the fees.

No Charity

It is a disgraceful and unethical act from the school authorities to adopt to this sort of an act when the whole world is going through an unprecedented situation. When it is the time for them to set an example, they have left every parent in a distressed state of mind. We preach and guide our students to be good individuaIs, show solidarity,respect people, value the culture and practices, be compassionate to the people around them. Schools who are supposed to play an important role in the upbringing of these values to the new generation, instead, here they are pushing them to the wall and leave them hopeless by these acts. It is very unfortunate that the school authorities have persuaded us to believe that nothing matters when it comes to business and we regret that our new generation is in these hands.

This is not about parents unable to pay but we are requesting at least a 30% discounted rate (and that is parents being generous) due to the drastically reduced service in facilities and learning opportunities for all children especially in primary school. Home learning is better than no learning but that is all it is. Huge shortcomings and parents are having to give 8 outs of the day doing a teacher’s job without training.

We want a fee reduction for all the paying parents.

Really think it’s a cheek and am quite disappointed in the mail received from Gems which makes me realise that the school management is not interested in the plight of parents who have to work and teach the kids and in top of that pay full school fees for e-learning. The 3rd term fee discount has to be offered across board and the school has no right to demand that parents provide proof of job loss, salary reduction or self employment/hardship or bank statements here and there.

Gems need to step up to its commitment and only charge the perents for the service they are providing , No one should pay for something they do not receive, No charity from Gems only our respect.

Please reduce fees and provide proper education/teaching leassons online for each subjects.
