We need fee discount , we can pay only for the services we take. Gems modern academy prices are very high for the online learning services they provide.

We’ve already paid the 3rd term fee of current academic year in full. Now that we do not get to use and no access to the school at all it’s only fair that ALL families (impacted by Covid-19 crisis or not) are entitled to a discount of 20-30% the very least. This can be deducted from 3rd term fee (for those who are yet to pay) or credited to next academic year school fee (for those who have paid).
Place yourself in our shoes Mr. Varkey. Will you pay your kids’ school fees in full ?
Oh, by the way I read in Gulf News you plan to sell more share of GEMS to another potential buyer. Come on.. how much is enough? Isn’t it time to share some of your wealth to help all the families who have been paying you for so many years?
Lastly.. I do believe your school has been tweaking the students reports. 1st Term report shows every student performance is so so, 2nd Term report shows student have made improvement, then 3rd Term scores very good result.. All these to justify your school is doing such a wonderful job ?

In these difficult times,many people are facing salary / job cuts. So schools can do their bit considering reduced operating costs.

The high tuition fees that we pay covers full educational in addition to the operating expenses such as,teachers’ salaries, running the school facility, after school activities, water and electrical utilities, meals, security, maintenance, and cleaning sevices.

The operating cost of the school has reduced which should be passed on as a rebate on the school fees. We are not asking for charity. This is the real Time opportunity for Varkey group to walk the talk and set a example in front of the Students that THEY CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND THE COMMUNITY.

We expect GEMS group to be considerate and support the parents going through this difficult n uncertain phase. Hence request to give a blanket discount for the entire school which would reduce the burden on the parents.
