IT'S TIME THE NEW YORK TIMES DID WHAT IS RIGHT AND DO YOUR JOB BY RETRACTING - FULLY WHAT YOU HAVE CLAIMED IS A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION W/ HER EMAILS - I CAN UNDERSTAND FOX DOING A CRAZY THING SUCH AS THIS BUT NOT THE NEW YORK TIMES. I AM DISAPPOINTED IN YOU.

NY Times, You have lost your credibility in reposting about Hillary Clinton without facts. The least you can do is apologize in front page and lead by example. Lies is not true journalism. #itrusthillary

You owe Hillary Clinton a major apology and I expect to see it shortly as a front page headline, or I will never read another New York Times!

A failure to accurately report the news is not acceptable. A front page apology to Secretary Clinton is required. The apparent battle by the New York Times against this Presidential Candidate must stop now! Get back to the fact!!!!

What I would like to say to the Times would not be good for publication. Suffice it to say, I do not think it was done in error. I believe it was a calculated and planned "lie"!

An Apologize is needed. Poor reports is one thing, but worst is terrible responsibility to the public who reads your publication.

An apology is necessary and should be immediate. Perhaps an explanation of who provided any wrong info also!

The press and the NYTimes has such a hard on for HRC that it has seeped into practically every story. This latest NY Times story is a huge breach of trust and even violates the lowest forms of shoddy journalism. The NY Times needs to apologize to HRC IMMEDIATELY and on the FRONT PAGE for their shameful political attack based on falsehoods from GOP hacks and Gowdy's goons. This type of political hack job by the press will not be tolerated by the public.

A leader owns the mistake, makes it right and apologizes. People respect a leader who takes these steps.

The enormity of this inaccurate reporting should not b relegated to a small line or editor not. It made the front page it should be retracted on the front page.

I agree - the NY Times should indeed print a full page - front page - apology for incorrect "reporting" about Hillary Clinton.

That is opinion. The line between opinion and actual reporting has become severely blurred for many. I would expect and demand that the NYT be above and know the difference between the two. I would expect that everyone there has a journalism or English degree where they teach such things. If that is not the case, it may be the heart of the problem.

I read the NYT for FACTS. This is NOT journalism and the story was not based on FACTS. The NYT is smearing a candidate for the US Presidency. I resent that. And, I would resent it were it any candidate. I am sick and tired of "the press" inserting itself into the story and manufacturing facts to slant the story. The NYT and others of your ilk are responsible for the decline of the print news reporting. Congratulations on ruining the NYT's reputation. I hold the NYT in very low esteem as a result.
