With the current financial crisis hitting the country, I strongly support the motion that civil servants to be allowed to get funds from their pension funds.

Gipf clients should be allowed to withdraw 1/3 of pension and use it to build their homes pay off their loans without paying it back

Backdated home loan is not a need for everyone but ever needs money for valid reasons. GIPF should come up with a strategy of consolidating loans for us at least. We need that money as a portion, not to be paid back.

This is the only way public servants can break through financial constraints. On contrary, giving them extra loans via GIPF when they’re already overwhelmed by financial difficulties could just worsen their situations

We don't need to loan ourselves our own money, we need a portion of what we have saved in the fund thus far.
