My Fellow COA members,

This is a petition to demand a new Board of Directors Election at Laketown Wharf. The election was held in October, and many people had issues casting an electronic vote due to problems with the MyHOAst website. People complained about the difficulty of voting, issues with the website, and the inability to cast a ballot or to get assistance logging in.

The COA board president refused to have another election and announced that all the current members would remain on the board. In the following weeks, the board filed a civil lawsuit against a few owners and other former board members, estimated to cost millions in attorneys' fees and damages. This lawsuit will take at least 2 years to resolve, and it was filed without advance notice to owners and open comments and discussion of the potential impact on financial stability and the detrimental effects on Laketown Wharf's reputation and property values.

We are looking to gather signatures to demand a new election of board members promptly, with time for owners to submit their names as candidates. Please add your name to demand a new election.
