So I believe Cameron didn’t mean to hurt anyone. And people are looking for a lesser punishment but 24 years for two lives if somebody is shooting their gun in the forest and hit someone since I didn’t mean to cause harm there should be no jail time, right? Kids that start fires with no intention of hurting others, but end up killing someone in the fire they don’t belong in jail either I understand we need to show love and compassion 24 years is a long time, but if he didn’t murder them we’d be fine with him serving life.

this is a severe bug of the system, unintentional homicide cannot be punished as severely as intended and planned homicide let alone that we are talking about a teenage boy who was on the influence of drugs. this should be a mitigating circumstance given the fact that he couldn’t think straight. I really hope you can find your humanity and remember your 18 year old self while rethinking this decision. it’s never late…
