This is not only for buggie & carriage safely but for drivers in vehicles like me who can't see them at dusk! If we have to share the roads with these they should need to have Flags reflective gear just like bicycles or any other vehicle on the road. I know it's a religion thing for them but then they need to start driving in the ditches and stay off the roads. Times have changed now and we need to think about the safety of everybody.

I worked there for about a year.its not safe for an out of town driver to run up on one in low light conditions.

I feel the people who use a horse drawn vehicle for transportation should abide by the same rules motor driven vehicle drivers abide by. The buggies should have signal lights,mirrors, also flashing yellow lights. They should also pay road taxes & have license plates.

How many times have I had to slow down on the highway because it is a no passing zone and there is a horse and buggy on the road in front of me. They use our roads and therefore they should have to help pay for them.

I’m looking forward to see this go through. Also I think they should have mirrors so they move over when something is coming from behind. An they should do something about the horse apples that’s not very pleasant to get home and you vehicle smells like a horse barn.
