The vast number of dogs being killed at this shelter is not ok. Texas must do better. People from other states see the useless killing & are appalled that Texas cannot do better. It is inhumane to kill beautiful innocent dogs because of human failure. To kill dogs that through no fault of their own found themselves homeless, freezing & starving only to be thrown into a cage & shortly euthanized. Build more & better shelters. Hire better people & for Gods sake be merciful to the amazing dogs with a death sentence imposed at random & carried out without a chance to live. Mama dogs that their babies have been taken away at birth, or worse spayed while pregnant & puppies killed. The mama left to morn. God have mercy on these animals who are subjected to evil every day. DO BETTER & DO RIGHT TEXAS! My birthplace & my home.

EU numbers need to be transparent. Mayor/city leaders need to find more support (financially and otherwise) for shelter and shelter staff to do better for these animals!
