Dreadful surgery, had bad back for over a year ,not even seen doctor, had scans xrays and lots of chats with gps but no visit to docs.

Since Modality took over Ship Street the service has seriously declined & it cannot just be blamed on Covid & staff shortages. I don’t know anyone that has a good word to say about it & why is the waiting room still empty?!
When you get to see a doctor they are helpful but the appointment system is dreadful, no wonder people go directly to QVH or Redhill when they cannot get seen by a GP, but this adds more pressure on the already overstretched local hospitals & nursing staff. I suggest a separate phone line for nurse appointments for blood tests, instead of joining the long queue for those that are trying to get through for an urgent appointment.
My elderly parents find the whole system very stressful & now ordering prescriptions has changed & they don’t use a pc or smartphone. Something needs to change urgently.

Disgusting service. There is no duty of care and people are giving up seeking treatment due to the lack of appointments.

I left Ship Street surgery in 2019 precisely because of the poor service it gave. Yet in 1985 when we moved to the area it was a great surgery. Modality has ruined it all!

An acceptable explanation for this fall in standards would be good!

The service given is dreadful and one fears getting ill as getting help is a nightmare when you most need it

Every other surgery offers e consults. Why not modality? Why do they routinely take 45 min in the afternoon to answer the phone?

Some outstanding members of staff but totally agree with comments concerning Modality's management of the practice.

A simple blood test would be good! But can not even get that! I was told to go to walk in centre. Also fed up with online monitoring. Just need to see a Dotor! occasionally

Horrendous times taken to get through to reception.
I think there is only 1 person answering for all 4 surgeries.
I am registered at J.C. I have had an appt: the & 2 at S.S. On each occasion while waiting to be seen,I have not heard a phone ring. Once seen by 2 nurses and a doctor I cannot fault them.

I find it very frightening that there is no health centre or Doctors at the moment. I feel like we're on our own, because I and my partner cannot get an appointment at all, not even for a simple blood test. We are told to go to walk in centre at Crawley or A&E. Which puts even more pressure on the Hospitals.

Ship Street used to be run for the benefit of patients now it seems it’s just run for the profit of Modality at the patients expense.

I agree that something has gone completely wrong with Ship Street Surgery
