When only thirty percent of the children in NY State can pass a test. It should not and does not reflect on the teachers, but simply shows that the test is poorly written.and unfair.

There is clearly a problem with the test when it is written far beyond the grade level of those taking it. I do not understand why grade-specific educators were not involved in the creation of the exam - how else to ensure the validity and developmental appropriateness of the test?!
