Demand an independent review of the PEARSON common core NY state exams.

I am signing this petition because I believe that the only reason for these tests is to create the impression that the schools and teachers are failing so that public school can be dismantled and replaced with for profit education!

This is wrong. The people need to be heard.

We were forced to pull our daughter out of her first year in middle school (6th grade) because of the common core curriculum and the difficulties she had trying to understand and complete the school work and homework. We, her parents, don't understand it so we were of no help to her. She cried every night while doing her homework. In addition, most of her teachers in the Scotia-Glenville Middle School had no compassion whatsoever and did not offer her help when they could clearly see she needed it. I am pleased to say our daughter is much happier now and loves being homeschooled.

Please stop the corruption and exploitation of our kids in our schools ! we used to have the best standards!!! What happened NY? ???!!!
