As a retired teacher/principal I am all for assessments that are fair and give us information to move a student forward in their education. I am also for an evaluation system that makes sure inky the best are out in front of our students each day. These two goals should not be at the expense of our children because of a poorly designed test and a poorly planned system.

These tests are several grade levela above a students actual grade. They are not fair to students or teachers. We need tests written by teachers at the appropriate grade level. These tests are full of errors.

My child is a honor roll student. The anxiety these tests have caused in her life, at 9 years old, is ridiculous.

This type of testing needs to stop!! They need to investigate this for our children. If we were to mentally abuse our children they would be investigating us very quickly. Our mighty fine Governor needs to remove his head from Pearson's behind
