Why don't we model ourselves after Finland's education system who have scored the highest when compared with all the countries.

It has become evident that the Pearson Common Core NYS standardized exams are developmentally flawed and invalid. Administration of these exams is a flagrant form of educational malpractice.

Our students and teachers are being set up to fail in a major way. This test was not written by education or child development specialists, it was written by big business, whose only concern is profit. Big business has quietly crept into our education system, a place it certainly does not belong. Teachers need to be free to do what they do best…teach. We are giving billions to questionable companies like Pearson to come in and “fix” a problem that cannot be fixed in this way. We need to put these billions directly into our teachers and our classrooms instead. We need to use our education budget for EDUCATION, not to feed corporate greed and crooked politicians.

Pearson is immensely flawed. No proofreading, many mistakes aside from the content being age inappropriate and wending indoctrination material throughout every lesson, paragraph and question. They are completely unAmerican and being the monopoly they are in our Nation, where they have no right, are transforming and destroying all education.

Our kids' education is not available to the highest bidder or billionaires and their chosen peers to make political statements, make more money, or influence their own ideologies.
