The countless hours put in for pre for these test is crazy. Who would ever want to be a 3-8 grade teacher. How does the state plan on evaluating preK - 2 and 9-12 grade teachers. Not at all fair. Not fair to use my children.

These tests are being used for purposes other than what they were designed for. Assessment 101 taught me that this kind of test is invalid and unreliable. The secret is out! Look at the high test refusals. Parents know this is nonsense!

Until NYS gave this contract to Pearson we had a history of fair and age appropriate testing . There was no other agenda besides evaluating and helping students. Educators worked with the State Ed Dept to make this happen. Take politics , lobbying, and profits out of public education. Evaluate these inappropriate tests so they can be pulled from the State and we can go back to quality education for public school kids.
