If it turns out that everything is OK then it would restore public confidence in the Council and the City of Mill Creek. If the results of the investigation are a negative, then the Council will be able to act according. If they do not conduct an independent investigation then the public will always be asking the question why?

Unfortunately my wife was a victim of this city manager and I saw first hand how upset my wife was everyday about how this city manager was treating the employees.
If council and mayor don't get off there ass and do something then they need to go as well.

If the City Manager, Mayor and the City Council are so confident that the organization is being managed appropriately, the employees are being treated fairly and with respect, and the reasons given for the employees leaving is truthful and accurate then an independent investigation would afford an objective opportunity to prove it. If there is nothing to hide it would only seem right and responsible to conduct an investigation and let the facts and findings speak for themselves.

I have personally witnessed the behavior of this woman while waiting for services in the city hall lobby. I was astounded when told my an employee that she was the city manager. If she will act inappropriately in front of customers, I can only imagine how she acts behind closed doors with employees.

This person is toxic! We (Swedish Edmonds Hospital) use to have a very toxic manager her name was Jane! We saw a co-worker have a heart attack due to all the stress this one person caused! The co-worker was trying to help the rest of the staff from the toxicity of this manager! Finally, after awhile this manager was let go! You would not believe the relief felt by the units and we all came together and managed the unit! Get rid of this person fast!

Seems to make sense, in general, though I would start with requests instead of demands and reverse items 2 and 3. Still my sense is both the mayor and city manager prefer to rule autocratically. Anyone else disgusted with the lecturing tone of Pam Pruitt's letters in the local news rag?
