This is incredibly unfair. This decision was unilaterally made by the Union without consulting membership. We voted on what's best for the workforce. There is no excuse to not go into ACQ DEMO.

Time to resume negotiations! We voted to convert to AcqDemo and it needs to be fully completed. To drop out without talking to the workforce and radio-silence of the union "Reps" is unacceptable behavior. Move it forward!

The Union failed us before by deciding to take us out of Acq Demo a few years ago and it appears they are again making the decision based on their desires not the union as the union members already voted once to go to Acq Demo.

The union president has disenfranchised us! What good is the voting process when the voice of the members is ignored? We need to move to Acq Demo immediately!! If not, the next vote should be to decertify.

Negotiations need to resume. What was the purpose of voting? You asked for our input in voting but failed to do so in making this decision. How can you request that we trust the union?

This is incredibly unfair. This decision was unilaterally made by the Union without consulting membership. The reasoning for not going to ACQ DEMO is the impact of 3 executive orders. These orders remain in force regardless of the evaluation system used. They are simply an excuse to not go to ACQ DEMO.
They should simply remove the MOA clauses that were in conflict with the EOs (which is neither agreeing or disagreeing with the EOs) and move forward as the membership voted originally.

The next petition should be a decertification petition if AFGE Local 1904 doesn't work to get us back into Acq Demo..

Union President Adam Carrigan is full of excuses, but nothing that Agency Management has done is a deal breaker. However, to fight what they see as "anti-employee" Executive Orders, this Union has become the thing it hates, completely ignoring the will of the employees it is supposed to represent. If we weren't part of a Union, we'd already have Acq Demo, like the other APG employees!

I am a Union Member and I am very upset with the decision of the AFGE Union 1904 to stop the negotiations. I realize there are issues on both sides but this will be THE SECOND time the employees will be getting the short end of the stick. The first time we were taken out of the Demo without a UNION VOTE and we lost an enormous amount of money due to this. Now this time we are waiting again. We have all been anxious about this Demo and yes it is not as good as the last Demo we were taken out of - without our input. But at least it is better than GS. No more excuses. Lets all move forward and do what's right for the employee. On both ends the Union and the Government need to MOVE FORWARD. Waiting until October is unacceptable. PUSH FORWARD.

Demand AFGE Union 1904 President resume negotiations immediately, no longer providing excuses for holding up new contract and thereby AcqDemo.
