Like the Coalition for the Protection of PEI Lands, I call for a public inquiry into land ownership, corporate acquisitions and beneficial ownership transparency.

We restricted land purchases in the 70' to prevent off Islanders from buying large tracks of land with shore frontage and taking agriculture land out of production. Ohh the simpler times.

These transactions need a thorough review which must be made available to the tax payers of PEI.

I have been following the situation for some time now and the big thing I see lacking is transparency. We need to understand what the future plans of these organizations are.

This needs to be cleared up and the results made public in 2026.

IRAC is a useless bureaucracy of Government puppets placed in positions to carry out the political party agenda. It’s a farce of an organization, it’s not transparent, it’s not truthful, it’s a faucaud for corruption on this island

Irac needs complete change, staff and rules and regulations changed. It’s been nothing but joke.

The Latin phrase, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" translates to "Who will guard the guards themselves?" Is quite pertinent in this situation. Glad handing sycophants have captured the IRAC organization and are doing as they please to line their pockets will ill gotten gains at the cost of island identity and security. A full independent inquest and a subsequent round of jail time for the co-conspirators for their dereliction of duty ought to begin sorting this mess out.
