There is plenty of wilderness in the US for wolves. They are counter productive and dangerous in civilized environments. I suggest spending more energy on fighting tyranny and less on “saving the poor wolves”. Get a job and contribute to civil society.

Like the rest of the federal government, this needs to be approached with common sense and put our citizens, ranchers, and food supply first!

I am a rancher and I along with other ranchers should have the legal right to shoot any wolf that I observe on any property I own/lease/rent. Stop importing wolves from Canada and other states into California and into other states.

As a small rancher, if the wolves kill our cattle, sheep, goats or horses, it will devastate us. We've witnessed the deer population and wildlife drop to almost nothing. The coyotes have been bad enough to deal with and now we have to worry about wolves. It's an injustice to the hard working ranchers whose livelihood depends on raising their animals and to the sportsmen that hunt. We're extremely worried that when we have to leave our home for even just a day, that we will come home to find our dogs ripped to shreds by them. It's very stressful. Ranchers stand the chance of losing everything to the wolf. In my opinion, THAT'S CRIMINAL! Those that are behind releasing the wolves need to be held responsible and prosecuted! Remove the wolves!

I love all animals. Nothing about wolves attacking livelihood of farmers and letting cattle and calves is fair, humane, or right.

I agree as a hunter here outdoorsman for 42 years. There’s not enough room here for wolves the deer gone the antelope are gone. You don’t see anything anymore.

As a Hunter Education Instructor of over 10 yrs, a resident of Northern CA for almost 50 yrs of my life, an avid outdoors woman, and also someone who spends time in the syskious and Shasta area- this is another stupid and environmentally irresponsible act on the California government! Wolves do not belong, and they will & are destroying habitat, wildlife, ranchers, and are a danger to humans/pets. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be prosecuted and fired! Remove the wolves!

As ranchers, having wolves introduced to areas that are not their primary land, has killed livestock and livelihood. These animals should not be protected nor should they be transported to new territory.

The wolf reintroduction program has been bad from the start!

Science should be involved in the management of wildlife, the pandering to city folks who have been fed a line by animal rights groups is not sound and not healthy for the environment.
