Land owners should be allowed to protect their property and animals. My reference is directly associated with the rules and regulations associated with the Mexican Wolf in NM.

When a human kills another human that person has consequences. Lives and generations of ranchers need to be able to continue on providing for their families and for our nation. Cattle die prices go up and up and up. Can we really afford more higher prices vs. Getting rid of the wolves. I guarantee the state will have lawsuit after lawsuit if something happens to a human being. Let alone 1,000's of pissed off redneck back country focks pissed off

The wolf experimental reintroduction has been a total failure from the start. There has been an effort by the radical environmentalists to use the wolf as a cash cow to fund their insane agenda, while they utilize the Equal Access to Justice Act to ensure that they do not have to cover any of the costs around their lawsuits challenging anyone or any group that would stand up against the non native apex predators from Canada. The hypocrisy of the wolf movement as being beneficial to anyone can best be shown with a quick review of the impact that wolves are having on cattle and sheep ranches, and the public safety hazards to the people unfortunate enough to live in these areas where wolves are being dumped. The USFWS refuses to work with ranchers to solve the ongoing issues with wolves terrorizing their herds, and this is not a new development on this agency’s part. From the start of this entire debacle, the public has been shut out of having any input regarding the severe loss of big game herds of deer, elk, and moose that have been drastically impacted by the wolves being placed in these areas that once boasted incredible herds of these fantastic animals. The amount of herd loss and the resulting loss of hunting license and tag sales across the west due to dwindling available deer and elk and moose, is being felt across the western US. The wolves are encroaching in many areas of the Midwest as well, with many accounts of negative wolf interactions. The incredible waste of taxpayer dollars to fund the wolf programs, and to pay the agents in the field who are supposed to be assisting ranchers dealing with depredations from wolves is completely out of line. These programs must be defunded immediately, and the wolves must be delisted and the right to protect their livestock and livelihoods given back to the ranchers, before these incredible producers of wholesome organic protein are lost forever. The small ranchers across the country are vital to the food supply for our

Wolves are hurting hard working ranchers, many of whom are struggling. They aren't allowed to do anything to protect their herds against the wolf predation. Stop this failed project now!

Defund the Wolf programs. I personally know ranchers who are living in hell with these creatures. They are losing calves often not to mention all the fawns and baby elk. It is probably already out of control. It will take decades to fix this mess.
