Some of these student athletes have worked their whole young lives for a chance to walk out on the field play varsity sports. My son has worked for thousands of hours over many years for this opportunity. He is a graduating senior this year with a 4.0. I have never seen him so upset by the announcement of his varsity baseball season being cancelled. We as adults may think it's just baseball, no big deal. For some of these kids, it means everything. We're not asking for a full season. Just give them something. Some closure to goals they have set for years and worked so hard to accomplish. Please think of these seniors that have had so many things taken away. Thank you for your consideration.

Please let these kids play. They need to have some closure especially the seniors that have worked so hard for their big year. My son is in depression ever since your decision. Think of their mental health also.

Please reconsider - This pandemic is an over reaction - baseball is played outside and social distancing and cleaning can be put in place to make this possible for the state tournament to be played.
