UHSAA - Please Reconsider - Delay is ok, but let them all play!

My daughter is a senior. Has been playing softball since she was 5. Was supposed to be team captain this year. Made 1st team 2A all state two years in a row. Made the state record book. She has been absolutely devastated thinking her last year of softball is non-existent. Please let them play!!!

These kids deserve a shot at their season after the pandemic abates.

There has to be a way to do this responsibly!

When it’s safe this summer please allow these boys a chance to play a 2 week double elimination tournament. They worked too hard to have it end this way

Please consider this. There are many ways each sport could adapt to not rob these kids of this!!!

100% - let them play. Have parents sign waivers if needed. This is a risk we want families to determine rather than having it forced on these kids as they reach the very season they have all looked forward to.

These kids have worked way to hard to have this spring season shut down and ripped away from them. Especially the seniors! Delay the season start and play into the summer if you have to but seriously, don’t just cancel everything outright. Let these kids play!
