The answer to this isn’t to shut the healthy people in. It’s to allow them to develop antibodies and immunity so other, less healthy people can benefit and be protected. Allow the 99% to resume life and happiness, encourage the 1% to practice self protection strategies such as avoiding crowds and wash hands often etc. This virus is already wide spread and we aren’t going to avoid forever. Please consider what this means to the thousands of athletes who will never get this opportunity again. Let’s not look back on this and wish we wouldn’t have been so quick to take their dreams away.

Please look at reconsidering cancellation of spring activities (especially baseball). We owe it to these kids who have worked so hard. We need to consider their mental health.
